Speaking and Teaching Engagements on How To Write Memoir
A RECENT SURVEY of Baby Boomers reveled that the number one pursuit they plan to undertake in retirement is writing a book. The Number 1 topic? Themselves. That’s right: Boomers are aspiring memoir writers. As far as I can tell, all they lack are the writing tips to do so. A Boomer myself, I’m comfortable with others my age, though I frequently speak to high school students, as well. Other populations I have taught include:
- Large assisted-living facilities
- Any other large treatment community
- Veterans
- Teachers
- Blogging conferences
- Parents of children with illness
- Mommy bloggers
- Children of parents with illness
- Spouses caring for the ill
- Anyone in recovery from any substance abuse
My primary home is online. See my 5 Steps to Writing Great Memoir for more.
And you can always find memoir writing instruction on the memoir writing blog on this site. I also work with writers as a developmental editor for memoir writing. Please be in touch. I’ll get that story out of you. I promise.
