Twenty Top Tips For Writing Memoir

IT’S THE BIRTHDAY of the Writing Lessons column. It’s been a year, and in that time some of the greatest current memoir writers have taken their time to teach you how to write memoir. To celebrate the anniversary I thought I’d give you a little gift in the form of a new website page that includes my top tips for writing memoir.

What is it? Well, if can’t get to my classes you can use it as an at-home course. If you’ve been to my classes and need a refresher, here it is. And if, like me, you need a little summer encouragement to write, it’s that, as well. And more. In all, it’s my way of saying thank you for being such fine, loyal readers.

Enjoy The Twenty Top Tips for Writing Memoir.

    Marion,
These posts truly are a summertime gift. In rereading them, I’ve already picked up some pointers I missed initially. Also, LOVE the photo of birthday kittens. That made me howl. – Judith
