Twenty Top Tips For Writing Memoir
IT’S THE BIRTHDAY of the Writing Lessons column. It’s been a year, and in that time some of the greatest current memoir writers have taken their time to teach you how to write memoir. To celebrate the anniversary I thought I’d give you a little gift in the form of a new website page that includes my top tips for writing memoir.
What is it? Well, if can’t get to my classes you can use it as an at-home course. If you’ve been to my classes and need a refresher, here it is. And if, like me, you need a little summer encouragement to write, it’s that, as well. And more. In all, it’s my way of saying thank you for being such fine, loyal readers.

I love your website! Thanks for the list of top tips! I have purchased several of the books you have had on the website and will continue to follow your site. Thanks for your wisdom and great ideas.
Thank you, Sue.
I am delighted to meet you here, and look forward to more.
Enjoy the tips.
Best,
Marion

Thanks for all the great information! I get so much from your Writing Lessons…and love hearing from memoir authors. Here’s the many more years!!
Marion,
These posts truly are a summertime gift. In rereading them, I’ve already picked up some pointers I missed initially. Also, LOVE the photo of birthday kittens. That made me howl. – Judith
